Surrey County Novice and Intermediate Championships, Epsom College, December 3rd

Excellent fencing from Streatham fencers Maddy and Anders today. Madeleine won the Surrey County Novice Women’s Foil trophy. Maddy was quick to learn-on-the-job as it were against several more experienced foilists. She won 15-13 in the semi-final and 15-11 in the final. In the Surrey County Intermediate Men’s Sabre, Anders seeded 4th after the poules before winning through to take the bronze medal. Congrats to both.
