NEW SPORTS HALL

This sports hall has won a design award and uses sustainable materials, it's the first sports hall in the world, to use shipping containers to create the surrounding structure. The flooring is state of the art, being both cushioned to lesson impact and grippy.

The new hall provides:-

A larger space - 4 badminton Courts
Better Lighting
Specialist cushioned flooring - ideal for Fencing
Opportunities for full length pistes
Shower Facilities
Limited parking facilities

Fencing times:-
Juniors 6-7pm
Seniors 7-9pm

We have also agreed that there will be a 15 minute grace period to allow us to put everything away and leave the premises. The major issue is of course the timing change. Although the difference is 15 minutes the leeway to fence slightly later no longer exists. The hall is also substantially more expensive however this will not affect fees or coaching staff this academic year i.e. to July 2011. The Committee will keep the move under review and would welcome any comments especially if those are supported by real help. This is your club and the Committee always welcomes any assistance.
