What To Wear

Tracksuit bottoms (thick), trainers (Hi-Tec Squash / Indoor shoes are ideal) and tee-shirt. We provide the rest of the equipment for beginners. Once you decide you like the sport, then you can begin buying your own equipment.

We fence in the large sports hall to the side of the school.

Those who are members can take individual, one on one, fencing lessons from our coach. Please approach the coach on the night to book your spot. Most fencers take a 15 minute lesson from the coach in between boats with other club members.

SENIOR WINTER COURSE - TAKING BOOKINGS

DATE: 26th April 2012 - 5th July 2012, On Thursdays 7:00pm - 9:00pm

COST: £90 for 10 Weeks. For Seniors aged 17+

Covers:

The fundamental moves of fencing through to match fighting with an introduction to the rules and equipment for the Olympic sports of Foil and an overview of Epee and Sabre.

10 weeks of lessons, offers great value, as it's the longest available course in London, others are only 6-9 weeks long. Also with free additional fencing sessions for the remainder of the term, available to course graduates, this offers even more for your money and makes your transition to becoming a full member easier!

Coaching is in groups from BFA qualified instructors. Please note beginners course students cannot fence at other affiliated clubs, until they are full members.





JUNIOR WINTER COURSE - TAKING BOOKINGS

DATE: 26th April 2012 - 5th July 2012, On Thursdays 6:00pm to 7:00pm

COST: £60 for 8 Weeks. For Juniors aged up to 16

Covers:

The fundamental moves of fencing through to match fighting with an introduction to the rules and equipment for the Olympic sports of Foil and an overview of Epee and Sabre.

Free additional fencing sessions for the remainder of the term available to Course graduates!
